Great latex clothing pictures (Lara Larsen)

They have been the favorite leisure outfit of all models for ages: the leather pants. This year, the rocking classic gets a new coat of paint, in the truest sense of the word.

Latex has always been the little, slightly wicked sister of classic matte leather. In the past, however, at most professional dancers wore the sexy fabric in dark clubs. The shiny material had no place on the street. In the past it was bad, today it is good, because designers and celebrities love the textile and now show it in the form of pants and skirts. But beware: with the wrong latex suit, the peaceful “waiting at the corner for the cab” can lead to unpleasant questions.

Pretty hot! A few weeks ago, the designer house showed its Cruise collection. Included in the party: tight latex pants in rusty brown. Dior shows how the material mix works properly: fluffy goes with shiny. The simple faux fur coat creates a soft component to the hard pants and balances the outfit.

As if sprayed on, the jet black pants look great on the supermodel. And again, the rule applies: soft fabrics round out the look. Also important for everyday wear is a coherent and muted color palette. Gray and black always go together and suit all women, regardless of hair or skin tone.

Street style expert Alexa Chung loves latex and likes to wear the trendy fabric with high-necked sweaters. If it’s a matter of chastity on the top, it’s okay to show off your legs on the bottom. However, red lipstick and a voluminous hairstyle are forbidden, otherwise the outfit quickly looks like fresh from the hood instead of the office.

This late summer it’s time to get rid of the prejudices against latex and get into the fabric, even if it makes funny noises at the beginning…
