Hatsune Miku Vocaloid Latex Kigurumi Costume

Miku Hatsune (jap. 初音 ミク) is a virtual character created by Japanese mangaka and illustrator Kei Garō on commission for Crypton Future Media. She was first introduced to the public in 2007 as the mascot of Hatsune Miku, an artificial singing voice developed by Crypton based on the Vocaloid2 software synthesizer, and went on to achieve widespread fame. Thus, it first appeared in fan-created music videos on Nico Nico Douga and became increasingly popular through various adaptations. Eventually, Miku Hatsune was marketed as a “standalone product” and adapted by numerous media outlets. In 2008, Miku Hatsune became the first synthetic pop icon and received the Seiun Award in the free category.
